Pay Information: $17.50/hour Order Type: TE
We are currently recruiting for an Administrative/Accounting Assistant . This is a FULL TIME contract position covering a 1 year maternity leave.

Responsibilities for the Administrative/Accounting Assistant include but are not limited to:

  • Perform accounting and clerical functions
  • Compile and sort invoices and cheques
  • Record business transactions and key daily worksheets to the general ledger system
  • Support accounting personnel
  • Set up pricing and create sales contracts

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

  •  At least 2-3 years experience in an accounting and/or administrative role
  • Post-secondary education, with strong preference to candidates with an accounting background
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and Sage
  • Proven ability to multitask and assist many team members with varying degrees of responsibility
  • Highly organized with an ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to process a large volume of work and maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Team player and self-starter with the ability to work independently

Pay: $17.50/hour
