Description

We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant for Quality Development.  This is a full time position with the oppotunity to be hired on permanently with benefits.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  •  Participate and support the SQD team meetings
  • Be the eyes, ears and voice of the SQD team as representative in the core teams
  • Initiate PPAP requirements for new and or changed products and forward those to supply base
  • Follow up on PPAP submissions as needed with supply base
  • Manage the Supplier Component Review log for completeness and accuracy
  • Manage the PPAP log for completeness and accuracy
  • Manage the Early Production Containment part administration in PIM
  • Follow up with SQD’s on their tasks and deliverables
  • Assist in reviewing PPAP’s on a need to basis
  • Support the SQD Manager in reporting activities
  • Participates actively in the requirement to retain ISO/TS16949/ISO14001 certification

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

  • Completion of College Diploma or University degree
  • ASQ, CQE certification a strong asset
  • Minimum 1-2 years related experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of PPAP requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Blueprint reading skills.
  • Problem solving skills using advanced statistical techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
