Pay Information: $20-23/hour (+Benefits) Order Type: DH

We are currently recruiting for a General Accountant for our client in the Windsor area. This is a FULL TIME permanent position with the opportunity to be hired on permanently with the company with benefits.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare monthly reconciliations of GL accounts/banks
  • Prepare and submit financial weekly/monthly reports as requested
  • Reconcile inter-company accounts
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  • Assist/prepare financial analysis, reviewing of expenses, as required/ assigned
  • Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records and record different transactions (e.g. disbursements, expense vouchers, receipts)
  • Prepare/maintain asset continuity schedules
  • Maintain year-end working papers, spreadsheets and assist with preparation for any audits or independent reviews

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

  • University/College degree/diploma in related field
  • 2-3 years of experience
  • Experience with Quick Books and Sage 50/300
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel

Pay: $20-$23/hour
