Description

We are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor for the automotive industry.  This is a FULL TIME position being directly hired on with the company.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Establish and maintain communication with other people in roles of responsibility to ensure that production is operating effectively and efficiently.
  • Ensure that employees are following all rules and codes of conduct.
  • Ensure that all new personnel receive appropriate training on their job so that they are aware of Quality, Productivity and Safety requirements.
  • Provide leadership and direction to direct reports which includes work assignments, attendance management and performance management.
  • Ensure production quotas are being met.
  • Comply with the provisions of the O.H.S.A. and requirements and take every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of the workers.
  • Ensure that general housekeeping practices are adhered to.
  • Ensure that daily preventive maintenance schedules are being adhered to.

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

  • 5+ years of recent Production Supervisor experience
  • Completion of grade 12 education
  • Familiar with IATF and ISO requirements
  • Valid Forklift, First Aid and CPR certifications a strong asset
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent organizational and time mangement skills
  • Ability to effectively problem solve
  • Must be available to work a days/afternoons rotation Monday to Saturday.

Pay: Based on experience.  Overtime available.  Benefits, pension and profit sharing offered.
