Description

We are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Clerk for our client in LaSalle. This is a full time position with the opportunity to be hired on permanently.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Purchasing & Inventory Control Duties: Set up new product codes, set up new general ledger codes, issue purchase orders, follow up with suppliers, calculate minimum inventory requirements, receiving, inventory adjustments.
  • International Order Desk Duties: Process orders, set up new customer accounts, track shipments for customers.
  • Accounts Payable Duties: Balance invoices with receipts, enter purchase invoices, balance
  • Accounts Receivable Duties: Post payments, issue receipts, follow up on outstanding invoices

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

  • At least 3-5 years of previous accounting experience, with a specialization in purchasing and inventory control
  • Completion of College Diploma
  • Proficient with Sage 50, MS Excel
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry a strong asset
  • Strong attention to detail skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong organization skills

Pay: $20 - $22.50/hour (Depending on experience)
