Description

We are currently looking for a Forklift Operator. This is a full time position with the opportunity of being hired on by the company. The Forklift Operator will work Sunday night to Friday night on a straight midnight shift.

Responsibilities for the Forklift Operator include, but are not limited to:

  • Handle and maintain the flow of inventory in the warehouse
  • Inventory is to be inspected to ensure the best quality is shipped
  • Load tallies will be completed with all necessary information required
  • Promptly organize warehouse so that all similar product is grouped together
  • Report any product quality issues immediately to the supervisor
  • Properly rotate product according to size, date and quantity
  • Perform inventory count at end of shift if required
  • Assist in general clean-up of the warehouse throughout the day

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • 1+ years of Forklift experience.  Valid certification not needed as the company will provide In-House training.
  • Produce experience a strong asset
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to repetitively lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Good communication and reading skills in English as well as basic mathematic skills.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must have transportation as public transit is not available
