Pay Information: $40,000 - $45,000/year Order Type: TE

We are currently recruiting for a Production Supervisor for our client in Kingsville. This is a FULL TIME 8 month contract position with the chance to be hired on with the company. This position is on a straight midnight shift running 6 days per week.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Hold team responsible for attaining goals of the MOS.
  • Ensure allocated product is being used
  • Ensure all grade-outs are being strictly followed.
  • Minimize product grade-out while meetings specs
  • Maximize what is graded out for highest resale value
  • Ensure packing quality and customer specs are being met
  • Training and enforcing customer specifications with line workers
  • Monitor personnel issues (attendance, etc.)
  • Maintain proper production procedures (Clams, boxes, etc)
  • Maximize productivity of specified section
  • Maintain and enforce organization, health and food safety policies
  • Maintain accurate section production usage of current needs
  • Oversee labels in section meet customer specifications and government policies

The successful candidate will have the following experience:

  • Previous production experience
  • At least 3 years experience in a management and/or supervisory role.
  • Must have ability to effectively follow-up and handle multiple projects with strong personal time-management skills and effectively manage associated stress
  • Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Highly proficient in computer-use skills (MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Willingness to maintain confidentiality and protect proprietary information
  • Willingness to work independently, with minimal supervision and take ownership of job
  • Willingness to work with a high degree of professionalism and personal integrity
  • Willingness to be responsible for company property

Pay: $40,000-$45,000/year (based upon experience)
